I'm using a click track to keep my guitar part in time. Later I will over dub bass and one or two more guitar parts and maybe some percussion, keys and sax. When our drummer comes over to lay down his part, he will use headphones and the tracks to guide him. This ensures everything is held together with a steady tempo plus this method of recording eliminates microphone bleed from one instrument to another. That's not always bad though. This will be The Surf Zombies 3rd CD.
